Now accepting questions! My faux post.

Edit: No more questions? *sad face* Distract me from my studies, I dare you!

*bangs on gravel* Attention! Atttttttteeeeeeeeeeennnnnttttiiiiooooonnn, people!

Yes, this is a shameless advertising post an announcement dedicated to all the curious lurkers and readers out there that, for a limited time only, I’ll answer any questions concerning myself or this blog. I truly apologize that I’m so inconsistent in my blogging nowadays (not that I was ever consistent to begin with). To make up for that, here’s a formal Q & A session for you guys to ask me anything!

When this blog was first hosted on tumblr, I had a account that gave readers the opportunity to ask me anything. I gave up the account and stopped updating it when I moved this blog to wordpress. I must admit that I miss receiving a wide variety of wonderful questions, all of which were submitted by readers. I’ll try to answer every question I receive, but I might not answer if I have to reveal something too personal from my life. And to make this Q & A session even sweeter, I’ll not only be answering questions on this post, but also on my blog’s twitter. (FYI: Just make sure that your account’s privacy setting is on public so I can read your tweets!) Continue reading

Dodo’s Ideal Type World Cup Challenge, Part V (Final)

We’ve reached the end of a very long game. Again, thanks to all who participated in this challenge and to those who celebrated along with me. I hope you guys had just as much fun choosing among the actors as I did!

As for this last battle between Uhm Tae Woong and Jung Il Woo — holy moley, it was ridiculous hard. Before I declare the winner, however, I’d like to give a huge shout-out to sara m, who drew the pig-rabbit above, and for Shadowfax, one of my commentators from my LOTR recaps, for designing my bloggyversary header. Thank you both so much! And for those of you who still want to play, here’s the handy tag link for Parts 1-4 of Dodo’s Ideal Type World Cup Challenge.

Now let’s cut to the chase and get this over with, shall we? Ahhhh! *breathes* Continue reading

Dodo’s Ideal Type World Cup Challenge, Part I

While looking at my calendar two weeks ago, I realized that my blog was fast approaching its first anniversary on wordpress and that I had better start doing something special in celebration for the occasion. Birthdays aren’t a huge deal in my family and we tend to keep things pretty low-key, but I figured that since it was DBJ’s first bloggyversary, I might as well go all out and make it a good one. But what could I do? Hold a contest or a random drawing? Write up a review for a drama since I haven’t released any new ones during the past year? Or should I just hand out some snacks and give a brief thank you speech? Dodo, where have you been?

For those of you who don’t follow me on twitter, I know I’ve been MIA in the world of blogging and Kdramas for a while now. But then again, many of you could probably care less. After all, there’s an abundant lot of fantastic Kdrama bloggers out there that are so much more consistent in their blogging than me — and better writers, too. (Side note: I’m so happy to see that many of them have become full-blown websites as well. Congrats, y’all! Squeeeeee!)
