History of the Salaryman Episode 3 Recap

If there’s two things I love in my dramas, it’s witty dialogue and adorableness. And there’s plenty of both in this episode! Bang is our reluctant hero who saves the day, yet it’s his reluctance that makes him all the more endearing. He’s no Superman or Batman, but he’s inarguably a good man that we all love. (Pun intended.)

I’m not sure how long I can continue recapping this sucker because of all my current real-life duties. My schedule’s so hectic at this point I can’t even sit still and write without multi-tasking. I’ll definitely finish this recapping project, but I may have to put it on hold for now. Or release recaps sporadically based on my weekly schedule. As I’m sure you all know, you can find faster recaps at another site. Oh, and just so we’re clear, I’m not writing these recaps necessarily for viewers — though I love y’all very much — but because my love for this drama motivates me to want to talk about it. And talk about it I shall. Until further notice. 🙂

History of the Salaryman Episode 2 Recap

What an enjoyable, fun-filled episode! There’s bouts of randomness, but some real good tender moments too. It’s been a while since a drama made me laugh this much, and I definitely can’t remember the last time I cried from laughing! HOTS continues to maintain the insane factor, but we see pieces of an overall story arc begin to emerge. Can I also say just how much I love all the characters, who continually pique my interest. Not one is dull. Though this may be a little early, seeing as how it’s only our second date and all, but I gotta say, I’m in love with you, Show! Continue reading

History of the Salaryman Episode 1 Recap

This episode was surprisingly zany and fresh, with a good blend of quirky and awesome. How much do I love this premiering episode? This much: ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

I loved History of the Salaryman so much that I was motivated me to get off my lazy butt and actually write a drama recap, which is something I haven’t done in a long while. My new drama crack, and so early in the year, too. It certainly can’t get any better than this! Or can it? Continue reading

Salaryman releases 17 minute preview of highlighted scenes

Oh my gosh you guys, this drama is not turning out to be what I expected at all, albeit in a good way. I’m hoping that the drama will be just as wacky and fun as this preview was, because I spent the last 17 minutes enjoying every minute of it. I understood little to nothing of what was going on aside from the obvious, which included a part where Jung Ryeo Won yells in English, “You’re f-cking fired!” Yeah, shocking! But epicly hilarious. History of the Salaryman releases trailer and more stills

Oh man, I don’t know what to make of this drama since it’s constantly surprising me with all its promo stuff. Initially after watching how wacky History of the Salaryman‘s newly released music video was yesterday, my interest in this drama plummeted. Then I watched it again this morning, and it cracked me up until I got stomachache. I was afraid that this drama was going to be entirely too melodramatic for my tastes, but based on a 40-second trailer, it doesn’t look that way at all. In fact, it looks like HOTS might end up being a fun ride. Continue reading
